How about Wyoming?

Haven't heard a lot about Wyoming but my friend has family there and she said she loves it! Being so far out away from city life and enjoying the sunrise and sunset with horses all around and beautiful trees is a nice breath of fresh air, literally! Smallest State has Big Potential!

Just heard that the smallest state, Rhode Island, is a really good place to vacation at! Rhode Island is very windy which means that the waves on the beach are crazy! So if you love the beach, warm weather in the summer time, and big waves to play in, Rhode Island is for you! You may not think of Rhode Island being a fun vacationing spot but it really is. My neighbors have gone to RI almost every year since they were kids and they have nothing but good things to say about it!

Although my last post pretty much said I would not be posting in a long long time, I decided that it may not be so long...as you can see.

This means that whenever I see a really cool place or destination I will probably be posting something about it...but I will not be blogging every single day.

So long, farewell...
This is going to be my last post, for awhile at least. As a junior in highschool it is really a challenge to keep up a blog page, even though it might be a little fun. I still will be checking it though so if anyone has questions about certain locations or anything I will be more than happy to answer any!
Anyways, for a “last post for awhile” type deal I am be going to be covering my dream vacation! This place is;

This is the second random picture post!
This one is a big deal, even though the Olympics just ended. I’m pretty sure that just gave it away but this picture if of Vancouver! The Olympics make any location seem just a little bit more special in my opinion. I honestly would not try and go visit Vancouver just because I haven’t really heard anything special about it. Now however, it seems like a really nice place to visit, especially because I love to ski! The mountains looked incredible on television so I can only imagine how it looks in reality! Another reason I would like to visit is because a lot of really inspiring events take place in the Olympics. Just to say a little something, I think the Canadian woman ice skater named Joannie Rochette is truly inspirational and I give her some serious props for that she did during the 2010 Olmpics. But she is not the only touching story, with amazing success stories, and unbelievable wins! Unfortunately, there was also a tragic death of the 21 year old man; my heart goes out to his family.

ARUBA, Jamaica, oh I wanna take ya…

This is an international vacationing spot for Aruba!
I have been to Aruba before and it is incredible! There is so much to do, but at the same time I didn’t even want to do anything! The island is so beautiful and the ocean so clear and amazing that all I wanted to do was lie on the beach all day! I had a perfect vacationing trip so I am going to give you details from experience!

Hotel: Radisson Aruba Resort
This resort is amazing! It is really big so you can just walk around at night and enjoy the little activities or music being offered. It truly is picturesque of what a tropical island should be.

Activities:
Water fun: tubing, snorkeling, scuba diving, boat rides, water skiing, wakeboarding ect.

Dining: The resort itself has really good food, lots of fresh seafood and really yummy steak. One restaurant I went to that was delicious was called The Blue Seal.

JERSEY SHORE

If my blog is reaching anyone is mostly kids, so this one if for you guys! Jersey Shore, I’m sure you have heard of it. Either from how insanely crazy the guidos and guidettes are, of by Snookie getting punched in the face…either way you have heard of it. But Jersey is not just about the t.v. show! Many people travel to the Jersey shore because it truly is beautiful! As you can tell by the picture, the beach is glorious! The water does take a little longer to warm up since it is farther north than other bodies of water, but it does get warm! Also, New Jersey is so close to New

Memory

To get the game rolling, I decided to share one of my vacationing memories!

Vacationing Location: ARUBA

My family and I traveled to Aruba, a very small tropical island, but absolutely gorgeous, and had an amazing time! A funny memory that I have is something that happened that was really sketchy, but turned out to be good. In Aruba, outside the touristy area the atmosphere gets pretty intense. One night my family and I decided we wanted to leave the hotel and go out to dinner some where fancy and delicious! We searched all the booklets and brochures advertising restaurants and we found this place that sounded amazing and decided to go. We were all excited and dressed up all nice and got in the taxi and told him where to go. Well, here is where it gets funny. We start driving and watching all the touristy things pass by, and things just got intimidating. Our taxi driver also barely spoke English, and actually decided not to speak at all. We kept driving until he turned into a dark alley way! We were all pretty scared now! I think the taxi driver was reading our expressions because he turned back and smiled at us, even creepier! It’s a happy ending though because on our right was the restaurant and it truly was one of the best steak houses ever! But, the whole thing was just crazy. That’s my story! Tell yours now!

This blog post is to really try and get some input! You may wonder, why does she need input if she is the one choosing all of the destinations? I’ll tell you why! I have traveled to many places, but certainly not as many as I would like too. Also, this cite would be a lot more interesting to people if they gave their own favorite vacationing spot! A vacation for many people is a time to create as many memories as possible! So also in my request for some good vacationing spots, any funny, touching, outrageous, vacationing stories are greatly appreciated! I’m a silly girl and this blog is getting kind of boring! So, I need help from the viewers to liven it up!

Also, if you have any great pictures you would like to share, post them! The pictures I am posting are very “postcard” like, so give people a real idea of how true vacations go, what real places look like from a student perspective!

And, if by any chance adults are looking at this page, I would really appreciate your input as well!

California, here we come!

California is notorious for being a spectacular state filled with so much to do and so many amazing scenery's. There are so many different places in California worthy of being a vacationing spot so I am going to just cover a bunch of things in California with a little less detail.

For starters, the beach! California is known for having glorious beaches with lovely palm trees and nice warm water and sand! Here are a few pictures to help get the picture in your mind a little bit more vivid.

Next area to cover in California is of nothing else but H O L L Y W O O D.

Hollywood is full of amazing shops and amazing celebrity sightings, which is always fun. Hollywood has been very famous for many many years as well. Here are some pictures.

The next and final area I will be covering is Los Angeles! Los Angeles is known for being a crazy intense city with lots of movement and crazy lights! Also, the shopping is incredible. Here are some pictures.

Southern Lovin'

Meet Virginia!

This southern vacation takes place in Virginia Beach! I have never been to Virginia Beach, but I have been to Virginia and it's a nice place to visit! Sadly, my parents made me spend most of my visit to Virginia experiencing the historical aspects. So this is an opportunity to experience the beach!

Virginia beach, like most beaches, is spectacular. Despite being farther away from the equator than say Florida, the ocean water still reaches warm temperatures, just a little later on in the year. So if you're trying to go someone nice, try Virginia Beach! You could always visit some historical stuff in Virginia too to please your parents too I guess...

This hotel is pretty much on the water, any closer and you would need to find a way to get the hotel to float!

Dining: Similar to other vacation spots, a large variety of places to choose from. You can get all fancy for a nice restaurant, or dress down for a relaxing evening.

Is it Spring Break Yet?

Unfortunatly no, but this post is all about MYRTLE BEACH, a very popular Spring Break trip for high schoolers.

Myrtle Beach, located in South Carolina, is a perfect high school trip! The incredible beaches are so inviting! Myrtle Beach is perfect for high schoolers because Myrtle can be pretty cheap in some areas (cheap as in prices)! Don't get me wrong, there are some very expensive get aways in the areas, but there are very affordable ones as well. Below will be a list of activities, pictures, and videos all about Myrtle Beach.

Cape Cod

I have been going to different parts of Cape Cod since I can remember and every time it's nothing but fun! Although Cape Cod is not some big amazing city or beautiful tropical paradise, it has it's own type of beauty. Cape Cod has this "homey-like" feeling which allows you to truely relax! There are different areas in Cape Cod like Dennisport or Falmouth but every little town is something special.
Another good thing about Cape Cod? Parental approval! My parents really enjoyed all the aspects of the Cape just as much as I did, which made it much easier to get parents to travel there.

Since Cape Cod is not one of my specific vacationing spots I am not going to go into a lot of detail of all the activities that are available, but I will give one bit of advice. If traveling to Cape Cod you MUST try Sundae School Icecream! The most amazing icecream I have ever had till this day!!

East Vacation Destination

It's on to the next vacationing spot! The vacationing spot I choose for the east is Miami, Florida! Just the name sounds exciting to me. Miami is the perfect summer vacationing trip for anyone as in love with amazing beaches as I am! Personally, Miami sounds pretty good right, I am sick of dealing with all the snow in New York. Once again there might be some negatives, like if you hate the sunshine, beautiful oceans, or warm sand, you probably should skip out on this trip as well.

Hotel: Located in South Beach, Hotel Chelsea is the most appealing to me, and looks beautiful! If you take a look at the hotel and are not fond it it, comment and let me know because I found many beautiful hotels.

Night Life: Night clubs: Amazing clubs (if of age)!

Shopping: There is shopping all over Miami including outlets and malls with lots of luxorious stores not even available in certain areas!

Spas: I don't think I need to go into anymore detail than that they all look amazing ladies, and gentlemen...

Eating: There are millions of different foods all over Miami that I really could not choose just one certain place! All I know is that if you travel to Miami, experiment with all the new flavors!

North Vacation

The first hot spot in the North I am going to cover is New York City!
For those of you who have never ventured to the "concrete jungle", you may be wondering why it's such a great vacationing spot? For me, every time I have gone to NYC I have experienced something new and exciting. Now, New York City is not for everyone. If you are afraid of all the hustle and bustle, you should probably skip out on this trip. However, if you enjoy the action and commotion of city life, take the journey!

Hotel:
Manhattan Centre Hotel

I did a little research and came upon this hotel which I have not heard of before, but looks pretty good! Remember, when being in New York City, you will not be laying around in the hotel room all day!

Activities:
Shopping: Fifth Avenue, Madison Avenue, Time Square

Eating: New York City has all the food you could possibly imagine, try some!

Shows: Broadway shows are incredible! Definitely get tickets for a show if it's in the budget.

This is my first blog post! This is just to talk about what this blog is truly about. The main purpose of this blog is to give ideas for traveling students. For me, I love going on vacations with my family, but if it's a boring location or anything involving historical museums, I hate it.

This blog is here to provide vacation locations that are interesting for high school students. I will be covering places in the North, South, East, West, and internationally. There will also be a vacationing spot of the week which will include hotels and rates. Also, I will post a special piece on fun Spring Break trips!
